The European Union has created a website to support consumers in submitting their complaints regarding any dispute they are involved in. Within this framework, OHAYOU provides all the necessary information so that you can exercise your right to file a complaint with an official, third-party, and impartial entity ("dispute resolution entity") that will assist you in resolving the issue in question.
Therefore, if you are dissatisfied with the purchase of a good or service on our website, or with the solution presented by us to resolve the situation, you can access this official website: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/?event=main.home.show and submit your dispute.
What is alternative dispute resolution?
Alternative dispute resolution is the opportunity available to all consumers to turn to official entities that can assist them in resolving or guiding a conflict before initiating litigation in Court. As a general rule, the procedure is as follows: the customer asks an impartial third party to act as an intermediary between themselves and the merchant who is the subject of the complaint. The intermediary may suggest a solution to your complaint, impose a solution on both parties, or bring the parties together to reach an agreement.
You may recognize alternative dispute resolution by other names: 'mediation', 'conciliation', 'arbitration', or 'consumer dispute resolution committee'. Alternative dispute resolution is typically less expensive, less formal, and faster than going to court.
OHAYOU provides the links to some of these entities that can help you present your arguments:
